Ramona Jaeger - Chair

I grew up in Grand Junction in the dairy business. I am married with 4 grown children 2 in-laws and expecting our first grandson in December. I lived in Grand Junction for 34 years involved in family agriculture businesses. We then moved to Oregon where we continued in the pure-bred cattle business. After 10 years we had an opportunity to move back home and buy a dry cleaning business from a family friend. So in February of 2000 we purchased canyon cleaners and moved to silt. We found that even though we were in a very different business it really is all the same. Your customer service must be #1. So we provide service to our customers just like the milk-man did. I love living and working in silt and hope you will too.

Doug Peate - Chair Elect

Doug has been a lender with Alpine Bank for over two years in Rifle. He spent two years drifting in the Roaring Fork Valley prior to that. Doug loves taking advantage of all the outdoor recreation afforded in the area and enjoys interacting with the vibrant people of the valley.

Cat Kullberg-Martin - Secretary

I was born and raised in San Diego, California and had wonderful opportunities to study and attend high school in Mazatlan, Mexico and college in Mexico City. I moved to western Colorado in July of 1997. I love living here and experiencing all the wonderful things this area has to offer. This is home and I never plan to leave.

After 24 years of working in public education I started a new career as a real estate broker in 2005. I own my own real estate company and specialize in western Garfield County. I enjoy working with people and helping them find their dream home. I believe in working “outside of the box” to get my clients what they want.

I have served as secretary and membership for Silt Area Chamber of Commerce, a director for the Glenwood Area Board of Realtors, chair person for the local Colorado Association of Realtors Housing Opportunities Foundation (CARHOF), been a volunteer for DOW Wildlife Rescue since 1998, and work for the Pauline S. Schneegas Wildlife Foundation in Silt rehabilitating animals since 1998. I also enjoy camping, fishing, traveling, and spending time with my family.

Gale Carmoney - Director

Mr. Carmoney received a Masters degree in Urban and Regional Planning from Florida State University in 1999 with a focus on environmental planning. Carmoney's research paper is titled Exploring Ecotourism Strategies for Sustainable Economic Development in Wakulla County.

His first planning experience was in Jefferson County, a small rural area in north Florida. There he performed a variety of tasks including code enforcement, revising the land development code, establishing a 911 addressing system and eventually director of the building and planning department. In order to acquire a broader concept of urban and regional planning, he accepted a job in a more populated urban setting in Indian River County Florida as Senior Planner in the Long Range Planning Section. This position provided him more experience in zoning issues and comprehensive plan amendments. Mr. Carmoney has been working for the Town of Silt since September of 2007 and is enjoying the benefits of living in a small rural town again.
