White River National Forest

The White River National Forest is Colorado's biggest playground. From skiing, snowshoeing, and snowmobiling in the winter months, to hiking, biking, boating, camping and fishing in the summer, the White River National Forest has something for you. Silt is a perfect gateway town to the forest. Silt sits on the edge of the Flattops portion of WRNF. The Flattops wilderness area offers some of the most pristine and beautiful country in all of the western United States.
