In Recognition of National Arbor Day, the Town of Silt and The Silt Area Chamber of Commerce planted 3 trees at The Stoney Ridge Ball Field. Two Colorado Blue Spruce Trees, that were donated by the Chamber, were planted at the entrance to the Ballfield and a Red Sunset Maple tree was planted by the ball field steps. Our Mayor spoke briefly about the importance of planting trees to off set our CO2 useage and beautify our neighborhoods.
